Big Sur calendar widget

Goodmorning everyone. I have a question regarding the calendar widget on Big Sur. If I set a to-do in the calendar app, it doesn't show up on the widget. I mean: is it normal that no indicator appears on the widget on the day I would have the commitment? is it possible that this thing will be implemented sooner or later? thank you very much!
