When I try to send a text message from my Mac laptop to a group where one group member has an Android and all others have iPhones, it will not deliver. It shows a message in red NOT DELIVERED!

You can only text android phones from your Mac if you also have an iPhone with text message forwarding enabled on the phone. iMessage is Apple only app so trying to use the app without the help of the phone will not work.

Thanks for the response! I do have an iPhone and have followed the protocols as you mentioned with the text message forwarding. It will still show NOT DELIVERED when I have an Android user in the group where everyone else has an iPhone.
Can you send a text from your iPhone to the Android phone? Have you ever been able to send a text to an Android phone?
You can try signing out of messages on the phone and the Mac, restart both devices, sign in again and set up text message forwarding again.
