Music app will not open in Big Sur 11.2.3 - how to fix ?

The Music app will not open on my iMac and as it is part of the OS, is there anyway I can repair or reinstall it without reinstalling the whole OS? Restarts, etc., have not made any difference, and I cannot associate this recent problem with any OS updates or app installs.
