Activation lock

The Ipad that I now have (ipad mini) was my brothers old Ipad. He forgot his apple ID and now that I restored the ipad it asks for Activation lock, and my brother doesn't know his Apple ID. I want to know how I can remove the Activation lock so that I can get into the Ipad!
