Making WIFI calls on my current 6s iPhone

I have 5G WiFi and live in a location where I cannot make calls over my data plan from by iPhone 6S. I have enabled WIFI calling on my phone, my phone is picking up the WIFI signal but I still cannot make or receive calls or texts. Does anyone know if this is a phone related issue?

iPhone 6s cannot use 5G cellular.

For that you need the iPhone 12 models.

Anyway Wi-Fi calling is a carrier feature, ask them if your iPhone is supported.
