Hey dekoso,

Sounds like you're needing help completing an iCloud backup, but don't have enough storage to do so. We'll be happy to help.

To check how large your next backup is, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups. Tap the device you're using and you'll see the next backup size.

After determining this, if it's larger than the available space in iCloud, you'll need to free up space before attempting an iCloud backup.

For more info, check out: If you can't back up to iCloud or if restore from iCloud backup failed

We hope this information helps out.

Take care!

Hello Karina,

(sorry about my English)

I still have 1,5tb (1500gb) in iCloud and my next backup has 45gb. Have plenty space but still not working and receiving this message about space.

My parents and my sister uses the same iCloud (2tb plus 200gb from Apple One) and for them is everything OK.

Tks !

dekoso,

If your next backup size shows that you still have plenty of space available and nobody else on the family sharing plan is having any issues, it's unclear at this time what could be causing this behavior to occur.

Because of this, we'd suggest contacting Apple Support for further assistance from here: Get Support

Take care!
