That is a USB-A port, you will need an adapter to connect your Lightning to USB-C cable to it.

If I plug in a sync and charge cable for iPhone with USB type-c on the other end into my Bluetooth cigarette lighter accessory why won’t my phone charge, like I don’t have it plugged in?
