Memory upgrade Imac 27 inch (late 2015) - adding RAM or?

I bought some extra ram for this Imac (2 x 8=16 Gb)

What to do with with the 2 x 4 gb (8GB) standard ram which was in this Imac?

Can I just add 2 x 8 gb ram? Or will this not work?

So, do i have to remove the 2 x 4 GB ram (standard) and than after removing them add the 2 x 8 GB ram?

iMac 27″, macOS 11.2

Yup... what dialabrain said. He’s 100% correct. Your iMac can have up to 64 gigs of RAM ( memory) ... you could try here: link

You can just add the additional RAM.
