There is no App Store for 3rd gen Apple TVs. The App Store is only available on 4th gen (Apple TV HD) and 5th gen (Apple TV 4K). Your third generation Apple TV does not have the storage capability. Only server-side apps are available. The user can’t install anything.
And to top things off YouTube recently withdrew its app from 3rd gen Apple TVs. It’s gone, period.
