My new Verizon AC won't do data roaming when on my new iPhone11 eSim if set for LTE/4G (although it works, slowly, when set 3G). I have a UK Vodafone chip as my hard sim. It will do data roaming on 3G and/or 4G. Is this a Verizon issue or an Apple hardware problem?

Thanks - That is what I have been pursuing with them - but they can't seem to get it fixed. I was curious if anyone thought this could even possibly be a hardware/antenna problem or something to do with the eSim.
Typically, data services are the responsibility of the carrier. But I'm not familiar enough with eSIM to say it can't have anything to do with the phone itself. Use the Get Support at the top of this page to open a dialog with Apple.
Verizon would be responsible for data roaming, not Apple. Contact them for help.
