Hi,
I've been trying to sync the music and playlists from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro. However, it keeps showing syncing TO my iPhone. That's the opposite of what I want. Is this not possible?

Syncing is from the computer to the device. Not the other way around. You may be interested in this article:

I am now aware that music transfers are one-way from the Mac to the iPhone. Something that should be easy to do is virtually impossible. I simply wanted to copy my music and playlists from the phone to the Mac. Hard way here I come.
