Mojave and the Mac App Store

When I follow the link the the Mac App store for Mojave 10.14 and try to download, I get and error message to the tune of"This copy of Mojave installer is damaged; and can't be used to install Mojave". Has anyone else encountered this?

Delete "Install macOS Mojave" from the Applications folder then re-download while in Safe Mode.
