Since you just purchased your brand new, factory sealed MacBook Pro, it very likely came with MacOS Big Sur already installed.


Click the Apple logo on the left side of the Menu Bar and choose "About This Mac" from the dropdown to verify.


The current MacOS version is 11.2.2. If you don't have that version, go to System Preferences > Software Update to obtain it.
