Virus in my calendar

If I delete my calendar app will it remove the virus and would I be able to get it back?

iPhone 11, iOS 14

If running iOS 13 or earlier versions, check: Settings - Passwords & Accounts - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.

If running iOS 14, check: Settings - Calendar - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.

You are welcome.

For future reference, those annoying calendar entries appear when a user accepts an offer from a web site to “Send Notifications” or other such “free offer”.
