I Bought a new iPad and the free Apple TV for a year does not appear when I open Apple TV. How can I activate the free year??

The FAQ tells you exactly how you must sign up to get the offer. You have to sign in on your new device. If you have problems, contact Apple. They can provide a code for you to redeem.
