Monitor for a Mac Mini m1

Hi,

I need to retire my 8 year old iMac. I am looking at the Mac Mini M1 chip as a replacement. I need a monitor but not sure which one to get.

I do family photo processing; no gaming. Plus mostly normal stuff: email; searches; word processing.

I would like something in the $300 to $500 range.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you

Bill

I had good experiences with asus, dell, samsung and lenovo, that being said does not mean I view lg or acer as poor options

currently I have 4 monitors two samsung old 19" non widescreen ones, and 1 27" asus one and 1 24" dell one

only a 19" and the 27" are currently connected to the mac mini though (a non m1 version)

Hi,

So my Mac Mini is all set up with an inexpensive Asus monitor. But I just noticed that it does not have a camera for Zoom, Facetime, etc.

Any recommendations for a monitor with a camera?

Also, my Asus is slow to warm up after being put to sleep. Any ideas about how to speed that up. Does that require a different monitor as well?

Thanks for all of your responses.

Bill

PS - the new Mac Mini is great!
