You should try the free LibreOffice. It does work with Excel files.

Can you be a little more specific than "it didn't work"? What happens when you tried?
at first everything goes fine until my computer is ready to reset it tells me "An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again. "
That also didint work the same problem poped up.
