If it was about Flash Player, see the following instructions rather than risk using a link in the request if you are not sure: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html

I'm not sure what it would hurt but see the following advice from Adobe in https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html
Since Adobe no longer supports Flash Player after December 31, 2020 and blocked Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021, Adobe strongly recommends all users immediately uninstall Flash Player to help protect their systems.

Flash Player may remain on your system unless you uninstall it. Uninstalling Flash Player will help secure your system since Adobe will not issue Flash Player updates or security patches after the EOL Date. Adobe blocked Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021 and the major browser vendors have disabled and will continue to disable Flash Player from running after the EOL Date.
I'm trying to add a straight line to a Pages text. I followed the instruction to add the Format icon (paintbrush) to the toolbar by clicking and moving it -- but it's faint and doesn't respond when I click on it. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks FixFifth. Does it matter if I uninstall Flash Player? What if I just leave it? It looks such a load of fuss and bother to go through the tedious process. Welcome your advice.
Sorry, I'm more of a Word user than Pages. You may want to start a new post with Pages in the title of the post.
Thanks again. Will do.
