can't install big sur
Getting error download message. Deleted loads of apps to create space for it. Have OS Catalina 10.15 on MacBook Air 2018. Cant see what the problem is

Please review AlLL points regarding How to Upgrade to Big Sur especially those computers that qualify for the Big Sur upGrade plus Empty Space requirements for a successful installation.
Strongly suggest - due diligence and making a Time Machine Backup Before attempting plus having two Tested Bootable Clones each to separate external drives.
