MacOS Bir Sur never finishes updating. The system try every day but get to the end and freezes.

And, to reassure you, there are no dumb questions. We are all here on this forum to find solutions to our issues.
Delete the Big Sur Installer from your Applications folder and download it again. It may have been corrupted. while downloading.
