How do I get iOS 13.5 or 14.4 on my iPhone because when I go to settings and software Update is says I am using the latest update but it’s using iOS 12.5 and it’s not showing the latest version.?

Your phone cannot update past iOS 12.5.1. You need a newer phone.
The 6S series hardware can run iOS 14. The 6 series hardware cannot. The 6 is a year older than the 6S.
But I have another iPhone 6s Plus that is 64 gb and is is currently running on 13.5 and has an update set for tonight to 14.4 so why can the one and not the other that doesn’t make sense!.?!?....
My iPhone says it has the latest update but it doesn’t. How do I get iOS 13.5 or 14.4 ?
