locked out of daughters phone. Don't know passcode

I have just given my old phone to my daughter. It has been set up, imported icloud data etc. But when the screen locked it wouldn't accept the passcode. i don't know what the passcode it.

Forgot passcode I upgraded my phone and factory reset my old phone to give it to my nephew. I wasn't in town for a month so I didn't use the old phone during that time but I came back and gave it to him and he says it has a passcode on it.
