RE:ADOBE FLASH PLAYER

after spending 45 min trying to reach Apple Support - I hope to find a human who can answer a simple question: a notification on my MacBook pro saying the flashplayer is out of date and should be removed, then i get another notification saying that the "Adobe Flash Player Install Manager is trying to install a new helper tool" How can I know which option to take?

See the following from https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html

Since Adobe no longer supports Flash Player after December 31, 2020 and blocked Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021, Adobe strongly recommends all users immediately uninstall Flash Player to help protect their systems.
