Deleted text messages

I’m currently having to recover deleted text messages on my iPhone X. It is for legal reasons. My iCloud does not have any text messages. Only photos.

If it is for legal reasons either restore your last backup when they were on the phone and lose everything else from that date or ask your network provider but you may have to pay or even have a police request/sub poena.

A proper icloud backup would probably have had them but “iCloud Photos” is not a backup
