How do you uninstall an app on the iPhone
Not all apps can be deleted(like system apps), but if it can you should be able to select Delete app

I agree. You are now able to remove the app from your "homescreen," but the app remains on the device and in your icloud. I'm getting ready to reset my whole phone just to get rid of the stupid apps. I hope someone has some ideas other than that!
Tap and hold until you get the menu options then tap remove app.

Removing it will uninstall it. I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do.
This is false. This technique keeps the discord app on my phone, just hides it from the home screen.
