Do you leave a boatload of potentially background running apps hanging in the background app switcher?
Do you leave a boatload of active Website tabs open the Web browser?
The 2016, 9.7 inch screen iPad Pro ONLY has 2 GBs of internal processing RAM, unlike most iPad Pro models which have, at least, 4 GBs of internal processing RAM.
Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?
