How to connect USB-C device to Macbook Pro 2015

Hi, I have MacBook Pro 2015. I have just bought a USB-C multiport and found out, my Mac does not have a slot for it (no USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 slot on my Mac). Is there a way how to connect the USB-C device to my Mac via an adapter? I could not find any such an adapter on web. Many thanks.

Hi,

I think there is no such adapter. You'd better return and refund it.
