MacBook battery says it's not charging

My MacBook is almost out of power and the battery still says it's not charging what do I do?

Make sure you use the right charger for your model, and not one that is undercharged.

Make sure there are no signs of fraying on any of the cables.

If the Mac is doing any video watching, you will want to dim the display to optimize its battery usage.

Don't multitask as much.


Batteries over 2 years old can start to show signs of age, and may need replacement.
