If I have a iPhone and iPad will the passwords and Apple ID be the same?

I can’t sign into my iPad mini the passcode isn’t working.

Passcode or password isn't working?

Passcode - If you forgot the passcode for your iPad or your device is disabled.     


Are you using the same Apple ID on both devices?


For the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get an email option if necessary.
