My computer will not power up but cd ROM drive makes noises

My computer doesn’t seem to be powering up but the CD ROM drive does make some noises black screen on computer. It does have power

iMac 27″, 10.15

If the computer is a 2013 or earlier then it is likely not worth fixing, my hunch is the issue is probably hardware related. However you can attempt the steps in If your Mac won't turn on or start up and if those steps do not help then it's time to take it to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be diagnosed.
