Cross country distance

I am very sad that my new apple watch dors not give me the distance I did for cross-country ski and also when o usr golfing.

I have tu use the walk function. I was expecting to have this on my Apple Watch...,

calibrating correct walking distance on apple watch My husband and I walk and our watches give us different distances on our watches. Why my Apple Watch does not count distance for cross-country skiing? Hello. this is very strange, Apple Watch has gps and everything works fine for walk or running. But watch does not count distance for skiing. It seems to be a bug. What should I do to turn on distance for skiing? mu device - Apple Watch 4 WatchOS 8.3 thanks.
