Bluetooth connection problem with Apple AirPods Pro

Just bought my second pair of AirPods Pro and they check out fine except I lose connection with iPhone most every time I move my head quickly right or left. Is this a defective pair?

My iphone 11 pro max bluetooth intermittently disconnects my airpods pro. My iphone 11 pro max bluetooth intermittently disconnects my airpods pro. I tried resetting airpods pro to factory settings several times, doesn’t solve the problem. Tried my bose wireless headphone but the results are the same, Bluetooth intermittently disconnects while i’m listening to music or watching videos. I also tried removing all my bluetooth devices on my iphone, leaving only my airpods pro - same problem. This is starting to get irritating... Iphone 11 pro max is on IOS 14.3 and my airpods pro is version 3A283.
