i’m trying to download things and it won’t let me without a verification and to see my payment method. i put it in my password and it says failed as if i’m trying to buy something and it was declined. i tried deleting my card off my phone and my ipad but both say there is a subscription active on the device. i checked, there isn’t.

If you have any subscriptions, have an unpaid balance or share purchases with your Family Sharing group, you can't remove all payment information. Get help if you don't want to have a payment method attached to your Apple ID.
