How do I enable dark mode for safari only?

The operating system does not permit you to single out a given application for light or dark mode. It is all or nothing. If you use the search terms, dark safari, in the Mac App Store, you will see subscription and non-subscription solutions to give Safari dark mode.

My safari wasn't on dark mode this morning, when I wanted to type something I must have done something with the option or the command button because it then turned my safari dark mode and I can't figure out how to turned it light again. My whole computer is in light mode except for Safari.
