I am trying to convert songs from iTunes to MP3 player. I went Into the settings and changed conversion but when I go to click on song and then go to convert it isn’t highlighted. All options are grayed out?

When I try to convert my iTunes songs to MP3 format, I get to “Files, then Convert”. However, all the options, ( create iPod version, MP3 version, etc), are grayed out and I get no further. Can anyone help? Thanks. How can I get the grayed out options to be available when I try to convert my music to MP3 format?

MP3 conversion method in iTunes no longer working Hi there! I've successfully converted my iTunes songs into mp3 format using the tutorial outlined here (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204310), but it hasn't worked on my most recent downloads. The option to convert to MP3 is now greyed out. On the Import Settings screen, i noticed at the bottom that it mentions "These settings do not apply to songs downloaded from the iTunes Store". Not sure if this is a recent development... Thanks in advance for your time and help, whoever may be able to help. :)

Hi,

Did you download the tracks from Apple Music? If so, you can’t convert to mp3 because of DRM.
