delete everything from my macbook air

i want to delete everything like it is a brand new macbook so i cab give it to someone else without my documents.

how do i delete everything?

How do I remove my Stuff from my old MacBook Air? I purchased a new MB Air M1and transferred my stuff to it several months ago.
