Headphone Notifications: Distinguish Headphones from speakers/car audio

Dear Apples, the implementation of Headphone Notifications for Bluetooth devices is missing the target, because there is no way to distinguish between headphones on one side and speakers/car on the other side.

I’m constantly getting unnecessary notifications while driving and wireless speakers turn down music all the time.

iPhone as well as iPad are essentially unusable for Bluetooth devices.

Since the iPhone can remember Bluetooth devices, maybe it can also have an option to mark them as speaker or headphones?

Please make it usable again.

iPhone SE, iOS 14

I feel your pain. Same issue here in NZ - incorrect Headphone Notifications: my iphone7 (iOS 14.3) is connected with car wireless FM transmitter via Bluetooth. It's not headphones. And there is no option to turn this “bug-feature” off..
