iPad Pro 10.5 freezes intermittently in apps

iPad freezes in 3rd party apps. Had to remove screen protector to get it to work then started again.

They talked to me on the phone and had me touch test the corners of the screen and in the centre. Then me they had me open the Apple Maps app to see if that responded properly. They decided that it’s something to do with third-party apps because all of the Apple apps work fine.
