Menu Bar Issue

Click the date/time holding the Option key.

This is normal on Big Sur, well at least for me. The menu bar on my screen has been transparent. If you would like to change that, try this. Settings > Accessibility > Display > Turn on reduced transparency. This will also reduce transparency on other parts of MacOS.
