When you complete a workout, should the “active” calories count towards your move ring or your “total” calories?

When I complete a workout on my Apple Watch, only the “active” calories I burn are counted towards my move ring, not my “total” calories. Wouldn’t it make sense for the “total” to be what is recorded?

Active calories are what you burn during exercise only and they count towards your move ring goal.
