Mac OS big sur

I downloaded to install MacOS big sur. but when I downloaded it, the program won´t install. Where on my hardrive is it located, because I want it gone

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

"Install macOS Big Sur" should be in the Applications folder.

Big Sur Installer File Location I have successfully downloaded and installed Big Sur however, when going to delete the installer file I cannot locate it in Applications.. I am wondering if the installer file deletes itself or whether it is in another location?
