Either your husband needs to shut off iMessage, or you need to create 2 contact records for him on your phone with slightly different names, one that contains only his phone number for SMS/MMS messaging, and one containing his email address for iMessage.

Hi Dsjl4,

We see your text messages to your husband are going from your iPhone its going to his iPad rather than his Android device. Make sure that you're using steps in Set up Messages on iPhone. Also, sounds like message forwarding is set up How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac.

Take care!

Thank you for your reply but I don’t wish to turn off all iMessages, only to my husband as I want the messages to go to his phone not his iPad. He does not receive on his phone because they are being sent as iMessage and his phone is android. How can this be done for him only please? Can something be done with his iPad to stop this?
