Apple watch gps+cellular

If I buy the series 6 with the gps+cellular capable watch do I have to activate the cellular right away? Im not sure if I want it but I want to have the option

No you can activate the cellular plan any time you like in the future.

Apple Watch GPS + Cellular I’m looking to purchase an Apple Watch series 6 soon. If I purchase the GPS + cellular option will I be forced to set up the cellular option in order to use it? or is that a choice. I was thinking of getting it just to have the features but I don’t want to set up a cellular plan immediately.
