128gb MacBook latest version... Hard drive getting full in "Other" for no reason hi I need help as this is a bit of joke... I have 128gb hard drive.. I dont have any major apps other than Microsoft word and outlook.. I barely have any space on my hard drive as 77gb is tied up in Other and I dont know how to delete wants on the Other part of my hard drive. Mac OS does not release deleted disk space Mac Finder shows that 180Gb is free but Disk Utility only shows 27Gb and the machine keeps warning me that it is running out of space. This has happened before and the usual fixes such as 'empty the trash can' and 'run first aid' do not work. The only fix seems to be to format the drive and start again. Is there a disk utility that can fix this disk corruption? OS13.5.1 (22G90)
