When your recently used apps appear, the apps aren’t open, but they're in standby mode to help you navigate and multitask. You should force an app to close only if it’s unresponsive.

With my old smaller IPad, I was able to close all of the sites that were

active by double clicking on the hoe button. This opened up the

page where I could swipe the all off one by one.

I can't figure out, without the double clicking home button,

how to open the page where all of the active sites can

be closed by a swipe on the iPad Pro.
