Dolby atmos
Hi I have dolby atmos supported soundbar but tv doesn’t support it. If i buy apple tv 4k does it play the movie atmos or does tv have to support that format too?

If you can connect the Apple TV directly to the soundbar, with video passthrough to the TV, then the audio properties of the TV do not matter. Then it depends on your soundbar’s input and output capabilities.
If you connect the Apple TV directly to the TV, with audio passthrough to the soundbar, then the TV needs HDMI-eARC (Enhanced ARC) to allow for the high bandwidth (Dolby MAT) Atmos stream that Apple TV outputs.
Not all soundbars support Dolby MAT, or may require a firmware update.
