Widgets

The Desktop implementation of widgets, otherwise known as Dashboard was removed in macOS Catalina. Widgets are now only available in the Notifications panel, and fewer than were present in the old Dashboard.

Widgets don't go on the Desktop. They are in the Notification Center.

I know that! I need it on desktop.

You can't always get what you need even if you try sometimes.
