Don’t see any available system updates

I have MacBook Pro Retina Mid 2012 with Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.6. I don’t see any updates available for me. How can I update my system for a newer version of OS (as I understand Catalina might work for my computer). What do I need to do?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download Mojave or Catalina through the links provided. They're full-version upgrades, not updates.
