iPhone factory reset
I have an iPhone 11 Pro max which is my phone now and I have my old phone iPhone 8 that I need to reset, if I factory reset the iPhone 8 would it erase what I have on my iPhone 11 Pro max since it was the same iCloud?

No. You may factory reset one device without it resetting the other, regardless of which Apple ID it is connected to.
