Apple Watch

My watch told me it needed a software update, but when I tried to update it it wouldn’t work, so I tried to cancel the update which ended up resetting my watch and unpairing it with my phone. Now when I try to connect it again it tells me to update the software, but when I try to it says it isn’t connected to the internet. I’ve tried to restart my phone and watch multiple times, but it just refuses to work. Please help!
